Two lightweight carbon
fiber main frame plates are screwed
together with 44 screws. Aluminum
screw washer’s ads to the quality,
and looks well on the eye. Metal
spacers, main shaft bearing bloks
and brackets in the middle of the
main frame makes the T-Rex 600 main
frame very solid and strong. A metal
motor mount houses the big
RCM-BL600XL Align brushless motor.
The T-Rex 600CF kit comes with
two sets of landing skids (normal
and 3D). The landing skids are
bolted to the bottom of the main
frame with four bolts and nuts. The
skid pipes are metal and have four
rubber landing skid nuts that
protect and prevent the metal skid
pipes from scratching.

Inside the tail boom mount, the tail
drive gear runs on two high quality
ball bearings. The tail boom mount
is secured to the main frame with
six screws. The tail boom slides
into the tail boom mount, and is
clamped secure with three bolts and
nuts. Graphite tail boom braces
gives the tail boom extra support. |

The rudder servo mount is
made of carbon fiber. The rudder
servo mounts, rudder linkage guides,
horizontal stabilizer, vertical
stabilizer and the tail rotor case
are made from plastic. A strong tail
rotor belt drives the tail rotor.
The tail rotor assembly has two
thrust bearings, two feathering
shaft bearings and two tail rotor
shaft bearings.

The T-Rex 600Cf comes standard with
carbon fiber tail rotor blades.
The high quality pre painted white
and black glass fiber canopy fits
securely onto the main frame the
canopy have two rubber nuts the
simply slides over the canopy
mounting bolts. The bottom of the
canopy has a pre cut hole in it for
cooling of the ESC. The T-Rex 600
kits come with one sheet of stickers
for the canopy and helicopter that
need to be cut out by hand.
That basically covers the quality
and construction of the T-Rex 600CF.
There is nothing negative that I can
say about this helicopter. All
thumbs up….
