After
assembling and
installing all the
electronics, you are
ready to start with the
setup. To do a proper
setup, you need the
T-Rex 250 manual and a
Pitch Gauge. Because of
the narrow main rotor
blades, Align has
provided a Dial Pitch
Gauge Pad that will fit
into the Pitch Gauge to
accurately measure and
set the main rotor
pitch.
Align have really made a
good job explaining the
T-Rex 250 setup, and I
found the setup
instructions easy and
understandable. Follow
all the steps, and you
can’t go wrong. I have
followed all the setup
instructions exactly as
per T-Rex 250manual, and
I must say that my first
test flight was a
pleasure with no
unexpected surprises and
hiccups.
The only drawback is
that you have to know
your transmitter and how
to feed all the setup
information into your
transmitter program. If
not, you will find the
T-Rex 250 setup
challenging and
frustrated. The servo,
pitch, and tail rotor
setup is well explained
with drawings and text.
Step by step
instructions will help
you program the speed
controller and gyro with
ease.
Setup Conclusion
Setup instructions are
very accurate and easy
to execute. It took me
one hour to complete my
T-Rex 250 setup.
