My T-Rex
250 Super Combo is the
first T-Rex helicopter
that I bought from
Align. My first
impression when I
collected my helicopter
from the post office was
how does Align fit the
T-Rex 250 Super Combo
into such a small box.
When I opened the box, I
was amazed how neatly
all the parts were pact
in small plastic bags,
and into the box.
Assembling the T-Rex 250
Super Combo was fairly
easy and took about five
hours. If you don’t have
previous building
experience, you will
find building the T-Rex
250 a bit complicated.
The main rotor head,
main frame and tail
rotor assembly was pre
build at the factory, so
most of the difficult
assembling is done for
you. All the different
building stages are
numbered in the manual,
and the numbers
correspond to the
different numbered bags.
This makes it easy to
start a building stage,
and when finished, no
parts will be left. The
necessary building
tools, anaerobics
retainer and tread lock
is supplied with the
T-Rex 250 Super Combo
kit. After assembling
and installing all the
electronic equipment, it
took me another hour for
setup, programming the
Align GP750 Head Lock
Gyro and programming my
Spectrum DX7 transmitter
