With the
recommended throttle and
pitch curves set as per
manual, I explored the
basic 3D performance of
my T-Rex 250. Transition
from normal flight-mode
to stunt one flight-mode
was very smooth. Loops
and rolls are very
gentle, and executed
without unexpected
surprises when inverted.
For a faster 3D
response, I tried some
loops and rolls in the
stunt two-flight mode.
The T-Rex 250 is very
nippy in the stunt
two-flight mode, and I
think that any 3D
maneuvers are possible
in this mode due to the
high main rotor head
speed.
There was no drop in
main rotor head speed,
no matter how hard
positive or negative
pitch was applied.
Overall I found the
T-Rex 250 very
responsive in stunt one
and two mode, and I’m
sure that anyone will
enjoy this little
helicopter when flying
basic 3D maneuvers.
